Mobile Filing

With the dramatic emphasis on cost of space within the office complex, whilst the cupboard was far more efficient than the filing cabinet, continuous pressure is always on to saving more.

With the introduction of mobile filing these cupboards could in simple terms be placed onto a railway track, moved backwards & forwards as required, and manage to house the same amount of filing of that of conventional cupboards within half the space.

Mobile filing systems fundamentally fall into two categories.

front to back
side to side

With reference to the former, there are many different types dependant upon your filing requirements. These can range from desk height - 2.2m high, 1m - 1.2m wide, 300mm - 450mm deep.

When locked together these provide total security as the end two bays always face inwards.

These systems are ideal for both office and archive use to accommodate suspension filing, box and lever arch files and transfer/ storage cases.

The latter system of "Side - to - Side" is ideal for smaller applications. ie. 3-9 cupboards in size incorporating most of the features of the "Back - to - Back" system for both application and sizes.
